The Harbour, Tenby

This well presented 2nd floor apartment in the heart of the historic town overlooks the bustling and picturesque harbour of Tenby. During the months of July and August each year, the walled town operates a vehicle-free-zone, the cobbled streets are lined with tables and chairs to take advantage of the ‘al fresco’ dining experience and entertainers and local crafts are in abundance in the quaint shops lined along the town walls..

Tenby has so much to offer, in addition to the four golden sandy beaches, there are boat trips to Caldey island where you can walk across the island and enjoy the views. A short drive takes you to Heatherton that offers numerous outdoor activities and Folly Farm where children can indulge in looking after the farm animals for a day and see more exotic creatures. The town itself also boasts a wonderful choice of good restaurants offering a range of sandwich take-a-ways to mouth-watering local dishes with fresh seafood a specialty in the season.

The public houses offer bistro style food throughout the day and evening and some have live entertainment during the summer months and if, you still have energy at the end of the day after all that Pembrokeshire air, on a fine evening, a walk along the promenade at South beach will allow you to take in a sunset equal to any tropical destination in the world.

Gas fired central heating and electricity are included within the rent. Please bring your own bed linen and towels. 5pm Arrival time during July and August. 3pm at all other times of the year.

Four, short flights of steps, via an external staircase, lead from the communal courtyard to the front door of flat 5. Kitchen: Newly fitted kitchen comprising electric oven with hob and cooker hood over, microwave oven and fridge with freezer box. Dining table and four chairs. Inner Hallway with built in storage cupboard. Bathroom/wc: Full sized paneled bath with shower over, wash basin in vanity unit and wc. Bedroom 1: 5’ double bed, door to verandah. Bedroom 2: Bunk beds. Living room: Two sash windows with spectacular views down into the harbour and across the north beach and out towards the Carmarthen Bay. Combination colour television/video player, 2 x futon sofa’s. Although car parking is not available with this property, a number of local car parks are within approximately 500-700 yards or so of the property. Sorry, no pets and no smoking in the apartment.
