Islands View is located in the centre of the picturesque village of Penally. The property was built before 1845 and was subject to extensive renovation in 2000. This resulted in three self-contained apartments. St. Margaret’s is the ground/first floor apartment and is named after one of the islands visible from the panoramic view. The apartment has spectacular views over Caldey Island and the sea.
It also overlooks Tenby’s highly regarded golf links that has the distinction of being Wales’ oldest golf course.
The pretty village of Penally is the perfect base for your holiday all year round. The village boasts a Church, Post Office/General store and 2 public houses where a choice of good food is served. Penally is only a few miles from the centre of the popular seaside town of Tenby on the South West Wales coast.
The town of Tenby is full of character, the historic walled town is filled with cobbled streets all lined with colourful gift shops, coffee shops, public houses and restaurants. A pleasant boat trip from the harbour at Tenby takes you to the beautiful and fascinating island of Caldey where the resident monks sell their own produce including chocolate, yoghurt and perfume.
The apartment is furnished to a very high standard and has attained a 4 star Welsh Tourist Board accreditation during 2006.
