S027 - Oak Tree Cottage
Narberth

An original mid 19th Century coach house, this recently converted, semi-detached, character country cottage has been decorated, furnished, well equipped and personally supervised by the owners who live in the next door cottage. Situated a mile north of Narberth town, the property is set back off the road in a semi-rural location and offers ample parking. The large lawned area and landscaped gardens are bordered by a shallow stream and enjoy picturesque rural views. Narberth is an historic and bustling market town with many shops, restaurants, indoor swimming pool and launderette.

It is an ideal base for touring, walking and cycling the surrounding area, whilst close to the town itself is Heron's Brook with its 18 hole golf course. A little further afield is “Oakwood” (Wales’ leading theme park), Folly Farm, Dinosaur Park, Manor Park Wildlife Centre and Heatherton Sports Park to name but a few. The cottage is not many miles from the coastal villages of Amroth and Saundersfoot together with the historic walled township of Tenby nearby.

The medieval estuary town of Laugharne, famous for its association with Dylan Thomas, is located a little further to the east. To the north of Narberth are the ancient Preseli Hill where tourist can enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding countryside or explore this unspoilt area of Pembrokeshire. The tiny city of St David’s and the Irish ferry ports of both Fishguard and Pembroke Dock are all within an hour’s drive of Oak Tree Cottage.
