Islands View is located in the centre of the picturesque village of Penally, just 1.5 miles from the centre of the popular seaside town of Tenby on the South West Wales coast, an enjoyable and scenic walk from the apartment takes you to the centre of Tenby or less to the sun-drenched South beach.The pretty village of Penally is the perfect base for your holiday all year round, boasting a Church, Post Office/General store and 3 public houses where a choice of good food is served.
The property dates back to 1845 but was completely renovated in 2000, St.Catherine’s is the first/top floor apartment and is named after one of the islands visible from the panoramic view.The apartment has spectacular views out to sea and to Caldey Island, and overlooks Tenby’s highly regarded golf links that has the distinction of being Wales’ oldest golf course, and so with the spectacular Pembrokeshire Coastal Path within approximately 500 yards of the apartment making St.Catherine’s a perfect base for walking, golf, boating or riding. The apartment is furnished to a very high standard and has consistently attained high Welsh Tourist Board accreditation.
Its neighbour, Tenby is full of character, the historic walled town is filled with cobbled streets all lined with colourful gift shops, coffee shops, public houses and restaurants.A pleasant boat trip from the harbour at Tenby takes you to the beautiful and fascinating island of Caldey where the resident monks sell their own produce including chocolate, yoghurt and perfume.
Living Room: The large living room has spectacular coastal views including Caldey Island, the golf course and South Beach. Three piece suite, pine dining table and chairs, a dresser, colour TV, DVD and video player. Kitchen: Fitted kitchen with electric oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave oven and refrigerator. Bedroom 1: Four poster double bed, bedside cabinets, a wardrobe, chest of drawers plus hairdryer. Bedroom one also enjoys the same spectacular views as the living room. Bedroom 2: Two single pine beds, bedside cabinets, wardrobe and a chest of drawers. Bathroom: Panelled bath with mixer/shower attachment over, wash basin and wc. Utility Room: with automatic washing machine. Rotary washing line on site. Parking: There is parking for one vehicle. Garden: A shared gravelled sun terrace with garden furniture. 4.00 PM arrival time. Rent is inclusive of gas fired central heating, electricity and the provision of bed linen, but please bring your own towels. A full sized cot is provided for a baby, please bring your own bedding for the cot only.
Regrettably, no pets and no smoking in the apartment.
