Terms and Conditions of Booking
- Deposit A deposit of 30% (minimum 60.00) will become due at the time of booking and should be received in our offices along with a booking form, duly completed.
- Balance The balance will become due 8 clear weeks prior to the commencement of the holiday. In the event that this payment is not received within 14 days of its due date, Holiday Connections Ltd reserves the right to cancel the booking without further notice and the deposit paid will be forfeited.
- Short Notice If the holiday is booked within 8 weeks of your arrival, the full amount will be due immediately.
- Changes to the Booking Please telephone with any changes to the details of your original booking as soon as possible and confirm all details in writing.
- Cleaning Although your accommodation will be cleaned before your arrival, upon your departure you are asked to assist in this process by leaving the property, clean and tidy. Please ensure that there is no washing-up left and that excess refuse has been disposed of.
- Arrivals and Departures Unless otherwise stated, all arrival times are 4.00 pm and properties must be vacated by 10.00 am.
- Linen Unless otherwise stated, visitors should arrange to supply their own bed linen (usually sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases), towels, beach towels and tea towels.
- Breakages Visitors are responsible for the repair or replacement of any damages before their departure. Your property will be inspected after your departure and you will be invoiced for any damages which will include an administration fee of 15.00.
- Mechanical Failure The mechanical failure of any appliances within the property must be reported to the owner where possible or Holiday Connections Ltd at which point every effort will be made to effect repair to appliances. No refund will be awarded in such unforeseeable circumstances.
- Complaints Complaints/comments should be made as soon as possible and in the first instance to the owner where possible, in order that they are able to instigate rectification and secondly to Holiday Connections Ltd in order that we may investigate on your behalf.
- Occupancy The maximum number of people to occupy the property must not be exceeded.
- Pets are only permitted where indicated. Bedding etc should be supplied for pets by their owners.
- Availability The hire of the property is made in good faith. If for any unforeseen circumstances the property is not available for the period booked by you, every effort will be made to offer you alternative accommodation. Failing this, a full refund without deduction will be forthcoming without delay.
- Cancellation In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel your holiday a protection plan has been provided for your benefit. A full refund of deposit plus balance (less an administration charge of 25.00) will be forwarded to you.
Conditions of the Cancellation Scheme:
(i) Serious injury, illness or death of any member of the party named on the Booking Form or a member of their immediate family.
(ii) Details of the cancellation must be reported to this office immediately by telephone and confirmed in writing accompanied by confirmation of the reason (eg. Drs certificate or letter, copy of a Death Certificate etc).
- Change of Mind or Circumstances In such an event you will not be entitled to a refund of any sort UNLESS that holiday is subsequently re-let by Holiday Connections Ltd or the property owner. Once re-let a refund (less an administration charge of 25.00) will be forwarded to you.
